The Lakeway Bee

The Lakeway Activity Center hosts the Annual City Wide Indoor Garage Sale on Saturday the 19th from 8 am to noon. Admission is free with a cenned food item.

Sunday May 20th is the 2nd Annual Stop The Clot race held at The Reserve on Lake Travis.  Come out to run the 5K, or walk the 1 mile, get a great swag bag and shirt (blood clot survivors get a special shirt) and enjoy the amenities of The Reserve for free (each registrant gets access for the day to this private facility.) The shirts have the signs and symptoms of a blood clot on the back so it's a great way to help save lives, along with your race registration which supports the National Blood Clot Alliance. Local Music Venue The Backyard has been given a temporary reprieve with ithe granting of water permits by the new PUA through May 24th pending easement issues being resloved.
