Droughts and lawns - free advice...
The Laura Bush Community Library (Bee Cave and Cuernavaca) is beginning a series of panel presentations on drought issues.
The first in the series (which will be held on the fourth Tuesday each month through April) is called "To Lawn or Not to Lawn" - come get advice for what to do with your lawn in the dry summer ahead! Everyone is welcome! Tuesday, January 24, 6:30 PM
Speakers this month are:
- Bill Nieman, Co- founder of Native American Seeds, will talk about diverse grasses for our immediate area and what is really going on underneath your lawn.
- Mark Simmons, National Wildflower Center, will discuss the new grass Habiturf, developed at the Center.
- Justin Kasulka, Big Red Sun Nurser, will talk about creative alternatives to grass for your lawn space.
