Recognizing that many of our students and their families will be travelling as part of the Lake Travis community to Arlington next week to support our football team and its historic “Drive for Five,” all students will be released on Friday, December 16 as follows:

Elementary – 11:45 a.m.

Secondary – 1:00 p.m.

Although students will have an early release from school, the District will remain open. Please note that our Extended Care program will serve students starting at 11:45 a.m. and will have a single pickup time at each campus of 5:00 p.m., while our Child Development Center located at Lake Travis Elementary School will operate under normal hours.
The Cavs will face the Waco Midway Panthers at 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 16 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Lake Travis will attempt to become the first team in the history of Texas high school football to win five consecutive state championships.
Information regarding Championship Week activities, i.e., car decorating, spirit wear day, team sendoff, etc., will be disseminated soon via the District and Lake Travis High School websites, as well as through the District’s Twitter account and Facebook page (ltisdschools).
